Coordinating mattress visits with nurses, aides and families

By Matthew Brunken · Updated October 14, 2026 · 1 min read · Editorial standards

Short answer

The smoothest visits line up with an aide or family member who can handle any transfer, since we don't move people. We can work with a bedbound client in the room. Agencies that group visits with us by area, so we can run efficient routes, qualify for a reduced agency rate. Tell us at booking about oxygen, breathing sensitivities or an enzyme allergy in the home.

Key terms used on this page

Grouped scheduling:
An agency sending several clients in the same area so visits run on an efficient route. Qualifies for our agency rate.
Service summary (inspection form):
Sleep Sanitation's per-visit service record, called the service summary: mattress inspection, sanitation performed (212°F verification, glide rate) and technician confirmation. The customer gets a copy.

Mattress visits fit best when they line up with the care schedule that's already happening.

Timing

  • Line up with an aide visit or bath time, when the client is in a chair. An aide or family member handles transfers; we don't move people.
  • We can work with a bedbound client in the room. See scheduling around a bedbound person.
  • Tell us about oxygen, breathing sensitivities, or an enzyme allergy at booking.

Grouped scheduling

Grouped scheduling means an agency sends us several clients in the same area so we can run an efficient route. Agencies that work with us this way qualify for a reduced agency rate. Ask about agency rates.

After the visit

We share the service summary with the agency when the family agrees.

Sleep Sanitation's view

This section is our view. Agencies that group visits with us for route efficiency can ask about agency rates. We carry a certificate of insurance, available on request, and run background checks under our hiring policy, including a national sex offender registry check. Sleep Sanitation serves Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding towns. Every visit includes dry vapor steam, HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment, the built-in bed mite sensor on our JIGOO UV-C mattress vacuum and a moisture check before we leave. Enzyme treatment is used on urine and other biological jobs, and ordinary accident treatment is included in the $249 first-mattress price. Severe or biohazard contamination carries a surcharge, and we tell you before any work starts. Call or text (402) 512-5658, or email info@sleepsanitation.com.
