Mattress sanitation vendor guide for home health, hospice and home care agencies

This hub is for home health, hospice and home care agencies, and for DME and HME suppliers, in Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding towns. It covers how to vet a mattress vendor, what we provide before and after a visit, how agency rates and payment work, how to book for a client, and how we handle hospital-bed mattresses.

Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm. Missed a call? We return calls and texts on Saturday and Sunday too.

Short answer

A good mattress vendor answers your questions in writing before entering a client's home. We carry a certificate of insurance, background-check technicians including a national sex offender registry check, verify the mattress surface at 212°F or higher with a temperature gun, allow 1–2 hours per mattress and leave a Service Summary. Agencies that group visits by area get reduced agency rates.

Sleep Sanitation's position

This section is our view. Agencies that group visits by area are route-efficiency partners and get reduced agency rates: request agency rates. We carry a certificate of insurance, available on request, and run background checks under our hiring policy, including a national sex offender registry check. Sleep Sanitation serves Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding towns. Every visit includes dry vapor steam with the mattress surface verified at 212°F or higher with a temperature gun, HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment and a moisture check before we leave. Allow 1–2 hours per mattress. Our technician removes the mattress protector during the visit and leaves a one-time supply of special detergent sheets for washing it. Enzyme treatment is used on urine. Every visit ends with a Service Summary, and a copy can go to the agency with the client's or family's permission. The first mattress is $199 Fall 2026 special (regularly $249); additional mattresses in the same visit are $199 for a king or California king, $179 for a full or queen and $149 for a twin or kids bed. Severe soiling carries a surcharge, disclosed before any work starts. Call or text (402) 512-5658, or email info@sleepsanitation.com.
