Short answer
Whoever arranges the visit pays: the agency or the family. An agency can book and pay for a client's visit, or refer the family to book and pay directly. Either way, the visit and the Service Summary are the same. Families looking for outside funding can read our aging-in-place article on who pays.

Key terms used on this page
- Agency-paid visit:
- A visit the agency books and pays for, as opposed to a family-paid visit the family books itself. The visit itself is the same either way.
- Route-efficiency partner:
- An agency or supplier that sends visits we can group by area. Partners get reduced agency rates, quoted on request.
Agency-paid
The agency books and pays
- Reduced rates for route-efficiency partners
- Fits an existing client service
- Service Summary copy to the agency with permission
Family-paid
The family books and pays
- Published prices, first mattress $199 Fall 2026 special (regularly $249)
- The agency just makes the referral
- The family gets the Service Summary
Agencies set up mattress visits in two ways. Pick whichever fits your client.
Agency-paid
The agency books the visit and pays for it. This suits agencies that add mattress sanitation to the help they already give clients, or that cover a visit before a homecoming. Route-efficiency partners get reduced agency rates.
Family-paid
The agency refers the family, and the family books and pays at our published prices. The first mattress is $199 Fall 2026 special (regularly $249). Hand families our number, (402) 512-5658, or the schedule page.
Either way
- Same visit: dry vapor steam with the surface verified at 212°F or higher, HEPA vacuuming and UV-C
- Same visit length: 1–2 hours per mattress
- Same record: a Service Summary, with a copy to the agency when the client or family agrees
Families asking about outside funding can read who pays for in-home mattress sanitation for seniors.
Sleep Sanitation's view
This section is our view. Agencies that group visits by area are route-efficiency partners and get reduced agency rates: request agency rates. We carry a certificate of insurance, available on request, and run background checks under our hiring policy, including a national sex offender registry check. Sleep Sanitation serves Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding towns. Every visit includes dry vapor steam with the mattress surface verified at 212°F or higher with a temperature gun, HEPA vacuuming, UV-C light treatment and a moisture check before we leave. Allow 1–2 hours per mattress. Our technician removes the mattress protector during the visit and leaves a one-time supply of special detergent sheets for washing it. Enzyme treatment is used on urine. Every visit ends with a Service Summary, and a copy can go to the agency with the client's or family's permission. The first mattress is $199 Fall 2026 special (regularly $249); additional mattresses in the same visit are $199 for a king or California king, $179 for a full or queen and $149 for a twin or kids bed. Severe soiling carries a surcharge, disclosed before any work starts. Call or text (402) 512-5658, or email info@sleepsanitation.com.
