Short answer
Act on the type of mess. For juice and milk, blot fast and keep water to a minimum. For crayon, scrape off the excess gently without heat. For slime, let it set and lift it off in pieces rather than rubbing it in. Skip the soaking and harsh chemicals. Normal stain treatment is included in our mattress price.

Juice, milk and drinks
Blot right away with dry towels, pressing down. Don't rub, and don't pour water on it. Milk is organic and can sour if it soaks in, which enzyme treatment is made for (coffee, wine and tea stains).
Crayon
Scrape off the excess gently with a dull edge. Skip the iron-and-paper-towel trick on a mattress, because heat can melt wax deeper into the fabric. Vacuum up the crumbs.
Marker
Blot, don't scrub, which spreads ink. Test anything you try on a hidden spot first.
Slime
Let it firm up, then pick it off in pieces. Rubbing works it into the weave. Vacuum the area once the bulk is off.
What not to do
- Don't soak the mattress (DIY mistakes).
- Don't mix cleaning products.
- Don't use fragrance to cover a sour smell (fragrance masking).
