Short answer
Pull the bed all the way out, vacuum both sides of the thin mattress, leave it open to air, and spot clean lightly. Sofa bed mattresses stay folded in the dark for months, which traps dust and odor. Add it to the same visit as your main bed.

HEPA vacuuming, enzyme treatment for organic odor, dry vapor steam and UV-C. We recommend cleaning twice a year.
Pull-out mattresses are thin, folded and closed inside the couch most of the year.
Before guests arrive
- Open it fully and leave it open for a few hours with the room ventilated.
- Vacuum both sides and the fold lines, plus the frame.
- Spot clean lightly. Thin pull-out mattresses don't tolerate soaking.
- Add a protector before making it up.
